(no subject)
Last year on January 3rd, DF proposed to me. We are getting married in October 2010, and have searching (without hurry) for wedding bands we both like, that are in our budget. Yesterday, DF happened to see a band he really liked. We didn't get it, but I decided that today, while he was at work, I would order it for him. I got it just now and am very excited to give it to him. I'm not sure if I will give it to him on Christmas (we don't exchange gifts on Christmas and don't want to make him feel like he should have gotten me something) or wait until January 3rd, to celebrate our ongoing engagement. I thought I might do something cheesey and silly, like re-proposing to him, or asking him if he *still* wants to marry me. I don't expect him to wear it until the wedding, although he can if he wants to. Oh! And, I also spent some time shopping for myself. I thought I wanted a simple two-tone 4mm band without embellishment. But I was wrong. I now am sure that I want a 2 or 3mm gold band with diamond inlay. They look so much nicer with my e-ring! Unfortunately, they are also 2x what I was planning on spending....so, I will have to re-think this a bit... good thing I have plenty of time!
