Alfred Angelo Matching Tux?

I'm a bridesmaid in an upcoming wedding, and the bride (who is not an LJ member) is starting to get really frustrated! She loves Alfred Angelo's orange colors, burnt orange and persimmon in particular, but can't seem to find any tuxes that match. Does anyone know of any large chains or local MA stores that sell a color that would coordinate? Any ( Read more... )

What about just a complementary color? My bridesmaids have alfred angelo dresses in "spice" and the groom will be wearing chocolate brown and the groomsmen will be in ivory.

That's sort of her fall back plan (she wants the colors to be orange, purple and white and the groom does NOT want any purple vests) to have the groom in black and the groomsmen in white, but I told her I would check to see if anyone knew about finding a similar orange shade vest. Whoo, long sentence!

Gotcha. I didn't go looking all over the place mainly because I'm not a fan of things that are super matchy matchy so we both settled with the ivory and brown.
I hope she finds something that works well!

I'd definitely also suggest this. My wedding primary wedding color was kelly green, and Men's Wearhouse (where we decided to get tuxes because it was easy for all involved) didn't have a matching vest color. We decided really quickly to go neutral, though, so as not to overkill such a bright, vibrant color. The groomsmen wore silver vests and FH wore gold (actually called "bisque") to complement my champagne colored gown. A gold, champagne, or brown might look very nice against burnt orange. MW has a color called "cognac" which would be really nice.

This. I think gold or champagne would be perfect.
