I love progress!
My fiance left for Santa Barbara early last Tuesday morning and I didn't land a subbing gig that day, so I decided to get started on addressing, stamping, and sending out our save-the-dates, which came in the mail the day before! I started with guests whose addresses I already had recorded (obviously), headed to the post office, and picked up a couple 20-stamp sheets of the new LOVE stamps. I absolutely adore the new LOVE stamps. I much prefer them to the old swans, even if they're not as formal. The save the dates were ordered from Wedding Paper Divas. The photo came out slightly lighter than I had thought it was, but that hasn't seemed to bother anybody who's received it so far. About that picture: my mother, fiance, and I walked to the bottom of one of the hills on my parents' farm with my fiance's camera in tow. When we started, it was nice and overcast, so there was no squinting... but my fiance is a notorious blinker, so a lot of those photos were no-gos. We went out a little later to try again, but the sun was brighter. I worked really hard not to look like I was squinting and so did my fiance, bless his heart... but he still feels like he looks "squinty." This was the least "squinty" picture of him we found. I think they look fine....
