Walking you down the aisle?
Did you have your dad walk you down the aisle?
I'm getting married on July 11, and I'm really not sure what to do about this. The symbolism of handing off from one man to another really turns me off. BUT, I think my parents are more traditional than I may have first pegged them to be. Ideally, I'd just have them both walk me down the aisle, but then it would be a crowded aisle...and do I really need that much help? I love both of my parents very much and am close with them, but this whole tradition just strikes me as weird.
I think I would feel incredibly awkward with my dad walking me down the aisle.
Please tell me I am not the only one with this dilemma.
