I am wondering what your songs are and why?

I thought it would be fun to see what people are doing, modern, retro, classic???

Our first dance song will be I'm Yours by Jason Mraz. It was a song I made FH listen to before we started dating. Basically telling him "I'm Yours". We deemed it our song.

Father-Daughter dance - I was thinking Landslide by Fleetwood Mac, but I'm also thinking Daughters by John Mayer. It's definitely between the two.

Mother-Son - FH hasn't thought of anything yet.

My kids & I- Yes my kids and I will be dancing to a song. It'll be Smooth by Rob Thomas and Carlos Santana...only because it's a song that the three of us dance to in my kitchen whenever it comes on.

I don't know about Bouquet toss song. I am not sure if I'll be doing that. It'll probably be Single Ladies, Try again, or Move B!*ch. Again, not sure if I'll be doing the Toss. FH said it's all up to me...I have til Sept 2010 to decide...lol.

I want some Journey songs. We both want Lifehouse's You & Me for all the couples. We haven't really made up a full list yet. I really hope there is VERY LITTLE country. AND NO SONGS that he and his ex picked out.

Last song of the night...I kinda want a funny song. It would be Roll Out by Ludacris...lol. Cuz I want everyone to ROLL OUT!
Another possibility would be Andrea Bocelli's Con Te Partiro (Time to Say Goodbye).

Just to let you know - Daughters is actually about a woman who is emotionally scarred because her father left her. Just something to think about when deciding.
