City/State/Country you live in: We live in Illinois - about 45 min north of Chicago.
City/State/Country you're getting married in (if different): Same - unless he gets his way and we end up going to Vegas, *lol*

Wedding Colors: Forest green (mine), navy blue (his), and silver (accent)
Formality: Costume-formal
Theme (if you have one): It'll be a costume theme; some of my friends asked if they could dress as favorite video game or anime characters, and at that point, Jamie and I decided that a costume-formal wedding was in order. :D
Number of guests: We're still working on that, too...
How'd you meet your fiance?: We were in Mythology class together in high school. We met our first day of senior year.
How long have you been together?: 7 years~

We got engaged in late July 2008, and since we don't have a lot to go on financially, we've been procrastinating a bit on planning...but since I have LOTS more free time (thanks to unemployment >_>) I'm taking back the reins! :D We have a bit of an idea of what we want for the wedding, but so far we haven't made any solid decisions beyond 1) what "official" songs we want (with the exception of a couple), 2) my side of the wedding party, and 3) what theme we want. I've only had one friend of mine get married, and one of my best friends has served as a bridesmaid in several family weddings, so while I should have good resources...well, I'm trying to stay cost-friendly while making it an awesome party for all~

Would anyone have recommendations on flowers and/or florists? Namely, what kind I might consider using (color/type/price-wise)? I have a bit of a conundrum because of the colors we picked, and now I'm lost on what flowers I should use. I'd like blue roses, but I wouldn't know how to go about dyeing white roses blue without wrecking them...and then there's the smaller bouquets and boutonnieres to consider...anyone got suggestions or tips? ^^
