Cake Topper
We've put down some vendor deposits and I will be ordering my gown soon, but as far as wedding related stuff goes, I've had nothing tangible in my possession until I got my cake topper in the mail today.
I wanted something a little quirky for a topper, but I wasn't sure want I wanted to do. Not long after we got engaged last June, my FH came up with the idea of using figures of Stan and Wendy from South Park to make our own. Both of us are big fans of the show, so that would be perfect for us. I thought that idea was really cute, so I started pricing the figures and other supplies I would need for the project. I've seen premade ones online, but they are usually expensive, generally no less than $50 and a little too much for our budget. That was a bit discouraging, so I figured homemade will have to do
However, a couple of days ago, one of my aunts who knew about the idea emailed me a picture of a really cute Stan and Wendy cake topper that she found on eBay and offered to buy it for us as part of our gift. It was sooo cute I absolutely could not refuse. It's perfect and much nicer than I could have made it. I love it.
