Two-piece vs one?

Hey all! Ok so I recently realized that my wedding dress is a two-piece (see it here, Maggie Sottero's "Lana"). I never tried it on before I ordered it (it'll be here in June!), never even saw it in person, so I guess this is what I get for not noticing that tiny detail in the description! My dress was a two piece and I really liked it. The top was a corset which allowed me greater freedom in fitting. I originally shied away from the idea of a two piece but after I tried it on I didn't think twice about it. I liked the two piece because I felt it was able to fit me better through all areas. This was mostly due to it being a corset top rather than it two piece. My dress was heavy at the bottom so having a separate skirt didn't make me feel like my dress was dragging. So I guess in the end it is still up to the individual dress, but having something be two piece is no reason to stay away from it.
