Ugly Reception Hall Turned Beautiful

I would love to see photos of plain or ugly reception halls that you decorated to look great.

I love the idea of the big paper laterns, but it seems as though lighting them could get expensive.

So please, show me your photos!

I haven't done mine yet, so no photos. But.

I've found several very, very affordable paper lantern sources online, and you can get pretty cheap battery-operated lights online, too. I'm planning to make a ton of luminaria for cheap: $9 for 100 blue paper bags, and about $115 for one gross (144) battery-operated LED tealights. :) I've never ordered from this site so have no comments on their service, but they give great ideas for portable lighting: http://www.batteryoperatedcandles.net/
