Universal Life Church
So, a friend of mine, as well as her husband, are ordained through the Universal Life Chruch - http://www.themonastery.org/;
I've been having issues with finding a good/reliable/affordable officiant to do our wedding. I would love for my friend or her husband to officiate our ceremony- we share the same religious viewpoints and general life outlook that they do and it woudl just be great to have people we know.
If they did it we plan to pay for as much of their travel and lodging as we can.
My question is- they became ordained through this while living in Michigan. Our wedding is in Indiana. Could they legally perform our ceremony and sign the certificate or whatever in Indiana??
