In all my wedding planning I haven't found much information about hiring a band for the reception. FH and I are huge music lovers and it's important to FH to have a live band at the reception. Not a cover band but maybe a jazz band or rock/folk/alternative band that plays original music.
So, wedding planners, if you looked into this option, hired a band or know of a good resource for information about hiring a band for a reception, please share your experience and knowledge. What was the cost? For how many hours? Was travel included? etc.
