Elopement

I was originally planning a large wedding, but the stress of it, in addition to my FH's nervousness in regards to being the centre of attention during the whole celebration, has made us think about eloping - probably somewhere like a resort. I am Canadian and he is Swedish, so planning something to incorporate everyone has been very difficult. I am starting to think of eloping as more and more of a romantic and appealing possibility.

I wanted to hear from other brides who have considered elopement and those who have gone through with it. I guess my main question is: any regrets that you did it this way?
