Weekday weddings.
FH and I are planning on having our wedding on Sept. 23, 2009, which is a Wednesday. However, since it's more than a year away, and nothing has gone out yet, we can change things.
Im planning on sending out save-the-date magnets by the end of the summer, so people have lots of time to get the date off of work/school. I really want to do it during the week, not only because the date is special, but because we are planning this from out of state, which means we have more time to do our research and go see places. Plus, I would imagine that some of the costs would be lower.
Has anyone been in a situation like this? Was it good/bad? Im trying to get a general feel from the people im inviting, but mostly what Im getting is "I have no idea, do what you want!" Gah! I want to do what will work for most people!
