Something old, some new ...

I'm just curious.  Did you do the whole 'something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue'?  And if so, what did you use for each?

I TOTALLY spaced this off until I was in my wedding dress, IN the church, getting my makeup done.  I had a pretty traditional wedding (minus what hubby wore) so I thought I NEEDED to do this.

Something old:
Was going to be the top part of my dress as it was vintage, but then at the last minute I decided to don these strange gloves my grandmother gave me upon her arrival.


Something new:
This far out veil ensemble my friend, Rachel, created.


Something borrowed:
Which needs to be lent by a happily married woman, btw, and returned. At the round table it was agreed Cousin Kelly was the happiest married, so I borrowed her emerald/diamond ring (formerly my aunt's) for my index finger.


Something blue:
My crazy Croc ripoffs. And gals, if you're not sold on painful and elegant footwear, these are the way to go.


And a sixpence in your shoe:

Then we made a wish on the coin after the service and hucked it into Elliot Bay.
