(no subject)
I'm way exhausted today for some reason. I graded approximately 90 essays yesterday. After having graded 50ish on Sunday. I didn't leave school until 5 p.m., and then after running errands, didn't get home until 7. Then today is the Poetry Out Loud competition that I - for some crazy reason - decided would be a great thing to host. And since there's no point in driving back to Meridian only to turn around and drive back to Newton to be here at 6 pm, I'm still sitting in my classroom. These kids have frustrated the crap out of me with this competition, and we'll see how many actually show up tonight. Hopefully all will go well. This is my first real event like this, so I'm really nervous. Plus I have to MC. Which I shouldn't be nervous about, but I am!! So wish me luck!
