So we're officially back in the USSR. I mean, back in the USA. The USA of America! I honestly did not appreciate America as much as I should have until I lived in another country. A 3rd world country, to be precise. And let me tell you, America is wonderful! We are incredibly glad to be home, even if it's now a good 60 degrees colder than it was in San Pedro.
We ate at Waffle House last night after we left the airport. Waffle House, the place we all took for granted in college, is a beautiful oasis of breakfast. And today I'm going to go to the glorious monopoly of Wal-mart. How clean the floors will be. How cheap the electronics, how various the food items.
Change has a'come. We traded all our Honduran Big Bucks for real money! I even flushed tp down the toilet! Hoorah!
