we'll waste our weeks beneath the sun
today me and jerry finally made it to the beach. we got there early and set up our stuff. he soaked up the sun for a bit before going in the water. it took me forever to finally get in and swimming because the water was colder than ice, i swear. i figured it would get warmer once i got used to it. it didn't. i got caught in the wave break and jerry saved my life. we collected seashells and got about 10 nice ones. we found them in the water cuz all the ones on the sand are always cracked or broken.
we stayed for about 4 hours without reapplying sunscreen - big mistake. jerry got burned really bad on his back and a little on his chest. i was burnt only on my shoulder. after we left we got pizza & ice cream somewhere local, then he drove home while i slept. we went straight to harmon to get aloe. then home to shower, then we went to see "the lake house". i cried. i'm such a sap when it comes to these kind of movies. then we went home and passed out in my nice air conditioned room and went to sleep.
