(no subject)
man, today was nice. true it was cold when i woke up. i slept in, kind of; meaning i didnt take a shower before leaving for econ. i brought my econ class donuts today, krispy kremes. turns out, guys in econ classes will take a free donut more often than girls. given that it is 8 am on a thursday. moreover, my econ teacher didnt want one because he isnt eating wheat for religious reasons. i also bet the class that whoever asked the most questions would get an extra donut at the end of class. well, only Garnett asked questions, and i forgot to give him his donut! i owe him one donut. so i brought two dozen to class, and hardly a dozen were eaten.
anyway, i went to breakfast, had a good meal except no apple juice :( , and then was disappointed to see that the crossword in the DTH was the same as yesterdays. darn. but it was fine. so then i sat out in the pit to do the previous days crossword anyway. so i sat there and it was a little cold but i mean, it was hardly 10am. So i see this line at the Daily Grind. Lots of people wanting coffee. after awhile i walk over there and ask who wants a donut. then after telling them that it was free, they made a mad dash for me. some people declined the donuts though, their loss. then the guys with dreadlocks, or just a lot of hair under a hat, said "wow, free donuts? want some coffee? trade?" so i said yes. and i got a small cup of brew for a donut, and i sat there for maybe ten minutes handing out donuts to random people. which is odd, that it took ten minutes to give out FREE Krispy Kremes. but anyway, i enjoyed it. some of the responses were priceless, like this one woman looked at me and said "Oh God yes!" another said "are you a good Samaritan or something?" one guy asked if this was a sentencing from the judge to be a nice person, which was probably the worst joke ive heard in awhile. i offer him donuts, and he calls me a criminal? anyway.
then i walked back to my dorm while listening to Tool. Right in Two. sat around, read some news, was about to take a nap, and jon called. he brought over a friend of his to show him how UNC dorms, nice kid. then i did take a little nap.
now its about 3:30. i wonder what the rest of the day will bring...
