Eeek... I hate when they di that! All of my cards raised my limits when I graduated from college, which didn't make paying them off any easier. I even had one of my cards cap my limit, but they raised it without telling me anyway. Stupid credit companies...

I just made sure I avoided temptation as much as I could. I cut up my cards except for one, I didn't care what perks the other cards gave me. I only kept the one with the lowest interest rate. Now, thankfully, I have everything paid off and can start living like a normal person again.

Well, luckily, I only have 3 cards: Wal-mart, Victoria's Secret and a Visa.

I probably owe a total of...$700 in credit bills right now :)

Then you're fine. I know someone who, at 26, owes over 60k to various creditors, including a loan shark (me).

I wouldn't worry, I left college with more debt than you've got - and you have kids to support! =)

I didn't even factor in my student loan. Although, I didn't qualify for the good student loans because my parents apparently made "too much" money - 100k to support 7 people in the house. So most of my college career was paid for by my Mastercard.

Yea, tell me about it. But the good thing was, I put it on my Citibank Rewards card and got airline miles for every friggin' penny of my college tuition! =D
