The house I have under contract has structural damage from past termite infestation. Now I understand why they negotiated so hard for an as-is sale (of course I said 'no way'). Today I am waiting to see what the sellers want to do about it, as I certainly won't buy it that way, with structural damage I am unable to fully assess since you have to start pulling off siding and sheathing to figure out what needs to be done.

This is the fourth house I've come close to, which has turned out to have structural damage.

Maybe it's something I said?

In other news, the house I sold a couple of months ago is back on the market, they're asking $10,000 more than what I sold it for, and it now has new paint inside and out as well as new appliances. I could always just buy that and move back in (LOL).
