The return of Kastle Kayla... ?
Today we had a get-together at Kastle Kayla (formerly crankyangel). Her boyfriend David (formerly knave_of_hearts), his friend Michael, cixel and misskris were over. She barbecued up some yummilicious pork ribs, made some really good macaroni salad, and some scrumptious baked beans, and some excellent chicken. She is a damned good cook.
We played quite a bit of Dance Dance Revolution... it had been a while for both cixel and me but we got the hang of it again. David also played. We were switching off playing in versus mode. Mostly we were playing in beginner mode, but a few times we played in normal mode and often failed to finish. I had been dared to try the toughest song on normal mode, and I must have looked like I was having an epileptic seizure trying to follow all the arrows... and yeah, I failed within the first 30 seconds.
Next Sunday, we are going to do it again. Next Sunday, the 18th, also happens to be Kayla's birthday (and the folliwing Wednesday, the 21st, is mine). Kayla said to me I can invite anyone I'd like, including LJ people... so, anyone who wants to come is welcome! And in the immortal words of ohmyhead, "if you have anything negative to say, you can just bite my ass right NOW." LOL
