Protest on the doorstep
Literally. There are a bunch of people on my block yelling, "Save our aides, save our children!"
Apparently, the Board of Ed (which is across the street) is discussing cutting their regular staff teacher aides and replacing them with temp-agency ones.
The neighborhood is unhappy.
Wait, they're cheering and breaking up. I think a decision in the protester's favor was just announced.
