Hiatus
I did something so stupid I'm still kicking myself for it.
I felt like shooting up some stuff, so I dug up my Call of Duty CD-ROMS, and started the installement.
They asked me for the CD-KEY.
Now I know I had the piece of paper with those keys somewhere, but no clear idea where, so like an idiot I did the following:
I decided to grab the key somewhere from the net.
For those who can't guess the rest, I have some major spyware and registry infection.
And off course its the kind of spyware that keeps on telling me my system is infected and I need to download this anti spyware program to get rid of it (Of course this program automatically detects the virus and malware and spyware, but doesn't delete it. You need to pay for that and what is your creditcard number).
I tried everything, but since I have to run in Safe Mode (because windows doesn't want to start normally) a lot of my stuff against this won't run.
Hitman Pro finds all the bad stuff, but can't get rid off it, I can't install Adaware (trying to bypass Hitman here. Tghat desperate) because Safe Mode won't let me, and the list goes on. Can't reset the system to a safe point, because it won't stop gathering the info it needs to do that.
Whoever made this list of infections did a very very good job.
So, backing up all the info I just can't loose, decide what is downloadable later on, and than the thing goes with me to Rotterdam to Our Good Man Sanchez, and we'll douse it with lighter fluid and set the thing on fire.
After that, install Tiny XP on it, and start anew.
It means that I won't be writing a lot of the A Larp Concept stuff yet.
I decide though to go with the D20 Tabletop to start the Concept.
Theres and exellent site with all the stuff I need.
