Dear Santa,
This is my very first Dear Santa letter, and my first NCIS SeSa experience. I’m excited about all of it!
A bit about me and my likes and dislikes:
Before I started reading NCIS fics (i.e. about a year ago), I was pretty sure that McNozzo would be the obvious and best fic pairing. I love how Tim and Tony have completely different - but surprisingly complementary - strengths.
Once I started reading NCIS fanfic (and reading rather a lot of it), I saw how very, very well the unique dynamic between Gibbs and Tony works in a lot of stories.
I would be very happy with Tony/Tim, Gibbs/Tony and/or Gibbs/Tim for this exchange. I’m not anti-Palmer, but at the same time, I have yet to get excited about Palmer-centric material.
I like stories that show Tim’s strengths (at work and in his relationships with others).
After seeing a few random episodes of the show, I binge-watched the first 12 seasons on DVD and then watched season 13 as it aired here in the UK. I’ve seen a lot of the episodes more than once. However, season 14 hasn’t made it to air here yet, and I haven’t seen any of it, so I’d prefer to read things that don’t rely on any knowledge of season 14.
Although there are many episodes that I like a lot, my favourite is (still) Probie, which ticks a lot of boxes for me.
I really enjoy case fic. I also think that words and ideas can be as exciting and sexy as actions.
I’m not a big fan of vampires, werewolves or AUs, and Kid!fic doesn’t work for me. I enjoy stories that fit with the fundamental premises of NCIS and everyone is more or less in character.
Kinky is good. Actually, it’s usually very, very good. I’m particularly partial to BDSM, and not easily shocked. I tend to enjoy dark and/or intense stories, though I also really enjoy a good romance.
I’m always happy for some F/F action, but I realise that that’s outside the scope of this particular exercise, and that the show doesn’t set up a lot of good opportunities for it.
I really look forward to reading what you write (and also to writing something in response to someone’s request).
