It's the same thing with my first crush. His name was Blair Jensen and we were in first grade. I didn't know what the feeling was, what to do about it, or if it was good or bad. Just that it was there and he always sat with that girl with dark Indian skin whose name was Crystal and smelled like recess. We never talked. Blair and I. But he was really good at math. He probably helped me with my math or something. Multiplication. Which was amazing at the time because nobody else had been taught the tables yet. He had fluffy blonde hair. Whenever I pet Carrie's dog, Penny, I think of Blair's fluffy hair.
