i saw my first cure concert last night... and i cried, twice... not like sobbing... just leaky eyes... because... i was seeing the cure...
oh my fucking god...
eric and i went with bryan and richie, who have both seen the cure about 15 times since 1989... much singing and dancing was had... i hadn't been that active at a concert in... oh god... i can't even remember the last time i danced and sang almost the whole time... except for one song... which ironically enough just came on itunes... so i'm going to get all misty eye'd again... mind you, i hadn't ever cried during that song before... but there were special circumstances...

i can't stop saying that... because i just saw the cure... and they were amazing... and they DIDN'T play 'friday i'm in love,' though they played most of the other singles... i don't care what bryan says, i didn't mind them finishing with 'boys don't cry' one bit, because i like that song... i even wanted to get the silly tshirt from hot topic that said 'boys don't cry' in burgundy velvet letters, but they didn't have anything under an XL when i decided to go for it... that was slightly surprising, but i'll save my 'fat goth chicks in love with robert smith 'comments for another time...
