...and here I am posting a short note asking for something.
I am the Guest of Honor Coordinator for Balticon, which takes place in Baltimore, Maryland over Memorial Day Weekend (May 22-25, 2009).
Item, the first :: Those of you who are able should totally come. Among the many excellent guests, Charlie Stross, Scott Sigler, Lisa Snellings, and Gene Wolfe will be there.
Item, the second :: I need Guest of Honor Liaisons for Charlie Stross, author Mark L. Van Name, the currently unannounced 2009 Compton Crook Winner, and artist Kurt Miller. Liaisons get free admission to the con and, for the very brave, the option to eat and sleep in the Berzerker's Lounge (a suite where volunteers are fed and, if they can find a spot on the floor, sleep).
It's a lot of fun. Don't make me beg.
