Pics 3 Friday
These are from Friday. Chyrise and I went to see our friend Howard. He plays drums, mostly Jazz. He plays with a few different bands. They played at a hotel lounge in DC, their first show there. It was a very small lounge so howard couldn't set up his whole drum kit, just part of it. Chyrise and I were the only females there for the first 45 minutes or so. A few more, who knew the band, showed up later. lol Anyway the music was great. Chyrise (who I met in 1985) met Howard in 1989, I think I later met him around 1991 through Chyrise. He played sometimes at this one club we used to go to in DC called the Ibex. He got married awhile back and actually makes a living strictly playing his music, which is rare if you don't make it "big". He gets a lot of gigs. Happy for him.
