A Cappella Underdogs, WHAT WHAT

To quote our beatboxer, Jeff: "A CAPPELLA BLOG BETTER CHECK THEIR STATS YO"

I have shit-tons of work to do so this will be very short and sweet. My group returned from the ICCA Semi-Finals, Northeast Division this weekend, bringing home awards for SECOND RUNNER-UP, OUTSTANDING CHOREOGRAPHY and OUTSTANDING SOLOIST!! Totally unprecedented. We're amazed!! Our first year in the competition and to come this far. My mind is reeling, seriously.

I actually wouldn't even be on here right now were it not for the videos for our set being uploaded to Youtube. Here they are!! Please support us by watching, liking, subscribing, etc. I hope you do, because...well...the fact that we placed in both rounds so far means that SOMETHING about us is good, right?

Being second-runner up means we are eligible to submit a video for a chance at the "Wild Card" round! Every first and second runner up in each Semi-Final division can submit a video to be viewed and judged by a panel. The winning group shall be picked to STILL participate in the Finals!! Now before resting on our laurels, I'll make a point to acknowledge that we're up against some amazing groups in this round...some of which who have WON the entire shebang before, and are considered the best in America. By that alone, I think it is already a great honour and milestone for us. So if we don't get it (which I really don't think we will, honestly), I'm still completely satisfied.

Back to my essays! Thanks for watching.
