Storm of spam posts in the moderation queue tonight, and all over lj in general, so I thought it might be nice to have a legitimate post for anyone who's still actually reading. So, what are you guys reading, webcomic-wise?

Here's my faves of what I keep up with every week, that you don't already list above:

Bear Nuts - Irreverent humor as the bears in a local zoo do their thing. Always good for a laugh! Another one I wished updated more than once a week. Beware toilet humor, vomiting, occasional bloodshed, mean practical jokes, and some touching stories, too.

DMFA - One of my all-time favorites, ever. Over 10 years of comics relaying the lives of a group of friends. Anthro characters of all sorts. Romance, drama, angst, darkness, hilarity, mysteries, and a very slow burn plot that is nearing the endgame, I do believe. Watch in amazement as the artist improves!!

Dumbing of Age - College students learning how to adult (sometimes) and to expand their lives. Fantastic character development, adorable art, tons of side stories, and did I mention the fantastic characters? Updates 7 days a week, in full color!!!

Gifts of Wandering Ice - I picked this one up from its promo post here on the comm a couple months back. ^^ Very interesting world building, set in a post-disaster world where relics from previous eras wash up in giant watertight spheres. Like cars, skeletons, and live dinosaurs. The art is a bit stiff at times, but it works. ^^ Also the writer is ESL, which impresses me!


Lackadaisy - Gorgeous art and an engaging story and characters! Prohibition adventure in St. Louis in the 30s, told with cats. The costumes! The scenery! The RESEARCH!!! Also cats with uzis. *giggles* Fantastic stuff, this artist is GOLD.

Namesake - Very plotty fantasy adventure, where a woman ends up visiting Oz, kinda-sorta-maybe falling for the Tin Man's grandson, meets Alice in Wonderland, has to rescue her little sister and BFF from some villains, and finds out she's not that normal, too. Fun times!

Skin Deep - Long-running anthro comic about a college student who unexpectedly discovers she's a sphinx. And several of her friends happen to be other creatures, too! The art improves as the story moves along. My only regret with this webcomic is that it updates only once a week.

Tripping Over You - Stylized romance comic set in secondary school in the UK. Rich boy and lower class acting major fall for each other. Switches to full color about half-way through the archive. Slow character development, very much slice of life. ^^

Wilde Life - Gorgeous art from day 1, writer moves into rural Oklahoma and discovers he has a live-in ghost from the 50s (she loves audiobooks!), sort-of-befriends an angry teen who happens to be a werewolf, is almost eaten a couple of times, and recently is dealing with a very unhappy poltergeist in a hospital. Fun times!
