Update and travel plans

First an update.

I finished my clerkship on August 12 and had since moved back to southern California.  My parents went back to Vietnam on August 9th so I, along with all my siblings, have been taking care of their business on their behalf.  I did the same thing two years ago, after I finished my summer internship at a law firm.  I paid for their flights and shipped them off to Vietnam while I came back home to work for them.  My parents have worked hard all their lives, they deserve a vacation once in awhile.

I can't wait for them to get home though.  The day after their arrival, my husband and I are taking my three youngest siblings to the Bahamas on a cruise.  Since my youngest brother is eleven, we decided to book a cruise on the Carnival Imagination since it's family-friendly.  We're flying to Ft. Lauderdale using our Southwest rewards tickets and spending a night in Miami.

After we get back from the Bahamas, husband and I will be going to Hawaii in October for his best friend's wedding.  He's the best man and I'm one of the coordinators.  We'll be staying a week in Oahu and then taking off to Maui for a few days.  We've been to Oahu before (for our six-month anniversary back in 2006), but have never been to Maui, so I'm excited.

In November, we're going to Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Cambodia for three weeks.  And then in December, we're going to Cancun for 5 nights, six days, staying at the Sun Palace.

Come January, it's back to work for me.  In the meantime, I'm thoroughly enjoying my summer and appreciative of my husband for being so understanding.  Husband and I haven't lived together all these times that we've been married.  We got married last November and a few days later, I was back in Arizona working.  I've been done with my clerkship, but instead of going back to our house, I'm back at my parents' house helping out.  Husband is still alone in our house, yet he never once complains.  I'm blessed to have an understanding husband like him.  i can't wait to start our marital bliss though, in our new home, together, instead of apart.
