So I'd been looking around the net to see if anyone had done a character bio for Harvey for reference. I haven't been able to find one, so with some encouragement I've decided to start to put one together. I'd love any feedback, additional facts, places where folks think I've gotten things wrong

Brilliant! Thank you! And I totally agree with your personal fanon stuff - that's what I get from Harvey too - and I think that's how GM PLAYS him. I still remember his reaction when someone said Harvey came from privilege and he reacted quite strongly to that - saying 'we don't know that" and she referenced that he'd been to Harvard so he let it pass but you could tell that in his head Harvey did not come from privilege and he hadn't been playing him that way. I just hope the show continues to back that up because it makes Harvey far more interesting. Also there's the thing with Jessica paying for him to go to Harvard - not his parents and the fact he was working in the mailroom in the first place - it definitely doesn't seem like he came from privilege to me. His role at the DA office and the way he empathises with people like the taxi driver confirms it too.

GM is definitely playing Harvey like he's got some street kid in him. I may end up doing another of these for Mike as well. YAY!

Just a common rl thing. Barely seen anyone before 40 or even 45 makes to senior partner. Even for a genius. Most people take 12-15 yrs to make it to junior partner. But I know there is no rule for that....

I agree with you. The age was based on some of the timeframes they've given us on the show and knowing they tend to age down a bit. :)

I think it's worth adding to the bio that the brother know is younger than him.

Maybe you could put something in about the fact that he goes to the gym but also seems to eat alot of cheap, street-vended food for his lunch breaks?

Personality quirks: We know he likes excitement in his life, but he's very rarely out of control of any situation.

Also, under fanon (and maybe as support for 'he grew up with little money') you could mention his disdain for the everything about the 'Harvard life', which was maybe why he took a punt on Mike.
