Patch wandered the halls of Delirium's realm, looking for one room in particular. She was occupied elsewhere... playing big sister to Jason Vorhees. He wasn't entirely uncomfortable with many of her friends being of that certain type... Jason, Jack the Ripper... Jimmy... What was it with the letter J, anyway? Still, he knew he had little room to judge, because he'd slowly become more like her recent weeks... taking in his own little coterie of damaged souls... Shinji Ikari, Donnie Darko. Broken boys like himself.

She'd let him stay in her realm, with an unneeded assurance that he'd be safe here. He always had been. It was no doubt within her power to co-locate, as her siblings often did, but she didn't tend to with him--whether it was to prevent him from being confused, or to that same for herself, he couldn't say. But it had enabled him to make this little trip. He'd lost Barnabas easily, and now he slipped in and out of the surreal terrain of her mansion until... Ah. There.

The room bore six sigils on its wall, with room for a missing seventh. He'd read about it, once existing in a world where his love, and much of what he now knew, to be fictional, but this was the first time he'd seen it. He passed by the ring, the mask, and the other emblems of her siblings in the Endless, until he stood before a simple silver ankh.

Would this work for him? Would he be breaking some rule of the cosmos? He shifted his weight from one foot to the other, and decided what the Hell. He slipped the ankh off of its hook and held it lightly.

"Didi? Death? Are you there?"
