Princess Tutu Rewatch! 23-26 (home stretch you guys!)

Episode 23
-This intro is cool, because it works as a metaphor for both Ahiru and Fakir's situation in this episode, and Rue and Mytho's situation later on.
-...Did Fakir just puke or something? I mean, he's probably just tired from trying to write, but its still kinda weird.
-I love how Tutu's all "It's not that I don't like being a puppet" so as not to offend Uzura.
-Marty Fleck's accent on the french stuff is so good. Actually I really like his performance in general.
-Mytho is either propositioning Kraehe here, or just being a total creep.
-It's interesting (and by interesting I mean fucked up) that both Rue and Mytho were planning on killing the other and then killing themselves at one point.
-Oh God that violin quartet music. *sniffles*
-When I first watched this, I remember being afraid that bird!Mytho had attacked Rue or something at the end.
Episode 24
-Oh Autor. We know you want to rule the world.
-Bird!Mytho freaks me out on several levels. Seriously.
-Slightly younger!Fakir is sort of adorable.
-And now Rue's kind of showing her crazy a bit more. Poor girl.
-Autor didn't even know the prince was real? That's weird, I thought he did.
-Autor, the reason you should help Fakir is that he can kick your ass. Just a thought.
-Its interesting that Ahiru interprets the news of what her pendant is as something positive (Mytho's will being that he would get his heart back), when the more obvious thing would be that, in order for the prince's heart to be fully restored, she has to go back to being a duck.
-I really like the version of Danse Macabre they use here. Lots of string usage, but also a bit orchestral too.
-Holy fuck that Raven is huge.
-Okay now I'm crying. Dammit Rue.
Episode 25
-The prince is so cute and noble and badass. Aaannd cue Siegfried Idyll.
-Okay, say what you want about Jay Hickman (and believe me, I have), but he does a really good job on Mytho's little speech here. And now I'm crying again. I have a feeling this is going to be a trend from now on.
-Um. Mr. Raven? I think with how long you've been stuck in that wall you've already got eternal life.
-Fakir's double take when he sees Drosselmeyer is amazing.
-You know, as douchey as he is, Drosselmeyer is kind of right about stories.
-Holy shit Fakir just stabbed his hand with a letter opener. That's hardcore.
-Never have I been rooting for someone to get punched as much as Autor in this scene. Fakir should've taken that shot.
-Don't think those thing Ahiru! Drosselmeyer is a horrible person and he just said that shit because he thinks your pain is hilarious!
-This pas de deux is so awesome and amazing and sweet.
-You know something I noticed that creeps me out? At the beginning of their version of The Dying Swan, there a sound like someone taking a breath. D:
-And now I'm sniffling at the part where Tutu returns the heart shard.
-And here we have it, the birth of sparkleprince. How magical.
Episode 26
-I continue to be amazed at how dreamy the prince is. *swoons*
-I love how this is the one episode where Autor is not a complete douche.
-Okay, that's it. Shut the fuck up Drosselmeyer, seriously.
-This show is so stinkin' cruel. Having a defenseless and adorable little duck beaten up by a bunch of crows? It's like they know exactly where our hearts are located.
-Oh god, sparkleprince's little face when Rue starts crying.
-Bad Drosselmeyer. No breaking the fourth wall.
AND THEY ALL LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER AND THE PRINCE AND THE PRINCESS GOT BALLET-MARRIED AND MR. CAT GOT CAT-MARRIED AND AUTOR STILL YELLED AT PEOPLE IN THE LIBRARY AND FAKIR LEARNED HOW TO FISH THE END
