Random concert attendance
Last night I went to see the sisters of mercy with Nick and Chris. I was to say the least surprised at the opener. I mean I knew Sisters of Mercy were goth/industrial/ whatever term they like to use now. But the opener was some english douche with an acoustic guitar and really terribly sappy songs. The entire time he was singing it looked like he was taking a massive shit, I was just waiting for the vein in his forehead to pop.
Sisters of Mercy themselves were pretty good. Vocals were too quiet, and they weren't terribly energetic. But I liked it nonetheless. They used an awful lot of smoke, which smelled like chalk.
And now my back hurts.
