After a month of silence
Finally, I am posting. This one goes out to everyone that told me i dont post enough. Anyway, well I left off last talking about Phil's bachelor party, that was last month. This month My softball team lost in the championship, I did all i could do in those three games, but we just couldn't get the hits when they were most critical. Then that weekend I attended the wedding of Phil and Lyndsey or however you spell it. It was nice, I was dateless, but luckily a beautiful women danced with me, thanks Janice, j/k, julie you looked great.
The following day Dave, Julie, Billy, and I departed for a week in Ocean City Maryland. That was awesome, I really needed a week away from everything. The weather was beautiful everyday. Thanx to Billy, Lss, and lYnds for the visits, Also thanx to Meg for wanting to come down, lol, maybe next time. We spent a week down there swimming, drinking, goin to the boardwalk, and drinking. "I had 9 shots!!!" - J.S. We met up with Phil and Lyndsey while they were on there honeymoon. Their room was awesome, ocean view and bayview.
After the beach I came back and worked for another week before heading off to school. Thursday night everyone got together and we watched Red Eye, Rachel McAdams is soo hot. Friday night no one was around so I spent the night packing. Saturday I headed out around 8 am. I got to school around 1030. Picked up my key and unlocked the door to my closet, I mean my dorm room. It is pretty much a walk in closet. The rest of the day was spent unloading the car and setting up the room. Michelle and I picked up Aaron from the airport around 5:30, he was soo happy to see his beer lol. Saturday night all us guys went out to the Lax house and partied in the triple.
Sunday I got up around 10 and set up my room some more, went to brunch and then headed off to wal mart. I got a trashcan and a nice tv/dvd player stand for about 15$. Later in the day we had Club Baseball practice just to get back into the swing of things.
Today was the first day of classes, uggghhh. 8 am was Anthropology, the only elective that would fit my schedule, thats what I told the professor too, prolly not the best idea. At 9 I had Geotechnical Engineering, 10 was Structural Engineering, and 11 was Project Management, all in the same room. Then i fifnished out my day with a nice helping of Calc III from 2-330. I made another wal mart trip with Aaron after that to get some breakfast food and fabreze. I've been reading and doing homework ever since we got back. One of the assignments was to design a bridge that wouldn't fail when loaded. To get a 100% the bridge had to cost $134K or less, i designed one that was $131K hopefully the best in the class, I get homework points if it is. well thats all for now.......
