Hatter Madigan is a royal bodyguard from Wonderland from the Frank Beddor novels and graphic novels, The Looking Glass Wars. The point in which he arrives in Desai is during the course of the first book and the Hatter M graphic novels in which he is in search of the rightful queen of wonderland, Alyss Heart. By trade, Milliners are expected to be cold and show no emotion so that their strength and focus may not be compromised, so don't be offended.
Permissions
Hatter is a very quick, agile, and skilled fighter who has many weapons in his arsenal, including many blades and screws on his back, blades at his wrists which he can use to make stab or whirl them in such a manner so as to deflect projectiles. As a Royal Milliner, he also employs a curious hat, which, when thrown, shifts into a fan of s-shaped blades and can sail through the air to be called back to him at will. Others may also use his hat, but expect a blade at your throat should you try to take it from him.
