Oh. You're a new person, aren't you? That's a bit rare these days, but welcome all the same. I'm afraid it's not a very welcoming place at the moment.

Strange things happen a lot in the Sphere. They've been a bit more taxing than usual just now, so I'm cutting a bit of slack where I can, really.

... wow, manners. XD weaver_girl August 1 2011, 14:53:00 UTC
Stressful might be the best word. In this case, "invading people's privacy" or "embarrassing" could also work. But I don't just mean the [pentap] wardrobe malfunctions, really. It's been a difficult month.

I'm sorry, but is there some reason you're asking about my giving time off to my employees? Or did you just mean the odd events?

Well. They're rarely dangerous, but often really strange. I'm talking about things like finding yourself followed by music or by little animals, or being stuck in odd outfits, like a lot of people are at the moment. Or you might only be speaking in verse, or it might rain fruit juice. It's... really a bit difficult to explain. There's been so many kinds, in the time I've been here.

It doesn't make much sense, especially at first. The only rule that really seems to hold is that you can never know what's coming next.

If anyone knew a way to help it, they would share. I haven't met a person who would really enjoy all the oddness. I'm not sure I can say "you get used to it", because you really don't, but it does always pass.

It's possible. You shouldn't expect them to advertise it much, though. Knowing too much and letting people know really never ends well.
