Rosie and the Postman 😁
Dear old Rosie is getting on now, she's around 19 and her hearing isn't great and her eyesight is terrible. She stays with me much of the time, sitting by or on me in the chair, she tends to guard me from whoever comes to talk to me. Oakhouse delivers and she's on my lap, a barrier between me and whoever, even the carers. The other day she was sitting in the kitchen doorway utterly oblivious to the postman who was trying to get past her into the living room. It was my fabulous postman and he was standing right next to her. Suddenly she notices something on the ground in front of her and she starts to look from these feet, slowly looking up his legs until eventually peering up at him as he towered 6ft above her! I think she was most startled that he'd got so close without her realising! It was really comical and would have made a funny video too 😁
