Trigger Warning -
Some 5-6 weeks ago the estate told me that the fence would be coming out. We had no choice but to exhume Tobacco who was buried in a box. Unfortunately once the box started to be dug up Tilly found it had shattered at the base so Tobacco had to be transferred to another box. At the time I thought this was terrible. I had No idea what I would be forced to endure later on.
The strange thing is that although he had died November 8th 2016 he still looked perfect. His little head resting on his Ratty soft toy, he was completely intact which is a thank fk because my mother unexpectedly grabbed the blanket and opened it up to see him again. In the split second I had to brace myself I was Stunned to see him looking like he would just wake up, yawning and maybe settle down again to carry on snoozing. The slightest of skin slippage that was all. He was on that many tablets though for his epilepsy, thyroid, kidney failure, arthritis etc he probably is extremely preserved. I do miss him. We all do 💗
