Ultrasound Scan 📹, Wheelchair Racing ♿ & Japes 😂
So much going on lately, I'm sure I failed to mention here that I had the ultrasound for my pancreas on Friday. Because it's Type 1 Diabetes found by fluke from extreme symptoms the scan was for once rushed through. Tuesday week it was ordered and expiditated, the end of that week the appointment was already through. And I nearly gave my poor mother heart failure with it!
When the letter arrived it obviously looked like a hospital letter, and when I opened it I went 'Oh my Gods, Oh no' hand over my mouth. My mother was panic stricken until I announced '8.40am for the scan?!?!' Her heart didn't calm down for ages 😂😇😈😳
And Friday I had the ultrasound done, 8.40am, second to arrive at the xray department and first to be called in for the scan. The assistant was superb in her support for me, bringing the table nearer to the powerchair, lowering it, helping me really well with all sorts. Scan done quickly and then, there's a long sloping corridor up for the way back..... I set the powerchair to 4mph and shot up the corridor and thoroughly enjoyed it 😂♿😂
We got breakfast in the hospital cafe where they actually know of me as weatherwitch 😊 My parents had bacon butty and a sausage butty and as mine must be soft /pureed I thoroughly enjoyed a Muller Corner with mini balls (ooh err missus 😝) yogurt and a good cuppa ☕
