Snow, no central heating, cold, & a cold
I've been ill with this cold for 2 weeks now, I didn't think it was that long but an appointment I'd had to postpone 2 weeks ago is due tomorrow! Not helping my situation, we've had to switch the central heating and hot water off, it's running on fumes from the oil tank now and the boiler is choking the kitchen with horrendous fumes. I've not checked the oil tank level in weeks as I've been poorly since mid December and in bed for much of that time. Saturday Tilly checked it and said he couldn't find the level, so I then did and discovered the tank was so low I couldn't get a reading. Oil company don't work weekend so had to leave a message and they're doing an emergency delivery today. But my mum who came over last night as a surprise as I've been stuck in bed last 2 days, said the kitchen was full of terrible fumes today. Meaning that the oil is as good as out. If anymore crap and gunk of decades from the bottom of the oil tank go through the system it'll fk up and stop so have had no choice but to switch the heating off. With snow on the ground outside, me still fking poorly and the kitchen door open to get rid of the lingering fumes my bloody Life doesn't ever get better?!
