The early hours of December 6th already? Where's the time gone?
Got taken shopping on Saturday, got the frame I wanted for my dads bus stitched picture, looks good, and also got a Winnie the Pooh glitter globe for my mum. I had to get the man in the shop to wrap the box in paperbags inside the carrier bag because you could just about see what the writing said and when anything Winnie the Pooh is around my mothers vision is comparable to that of a hawks! So that was excellent, I am really pleased with it all. I was wondering why my parents took so long to ring me to tell that they were home, they had to break in to their house as the lock on the inside door had gone faulty. Much hammering and chiseling at gone 11pm and not one member of the village neighbourhood watch came to see what was happening! Still, that's the third thing to go for them. Their Zanussi washing machine went shortly after mine kicked the bucket earlier this year, only their machine was 16 years old. Last week the fridge freezer packed up, that too was an astounding 18 years old! So it's been an expensive year for them.
As they had to drive past me to go through to B&Q for a new lock, they offered to take me to the garden centre so I got an extra unexpected day out :) I got some toys for the girls, 8 large sleigh bells, about two inches big, brightly coloured, which they adore. They are meant as tree decorations but both girls adore anything that makes a noise and they've both been dashing in and out of the rooms chasing the bells about. They can't get out now so any exercise is good for them :) Trouble is that I had to go to bed for a few hours earlier and they were crashing them about the place, still they're happy which is the main thing.
My father got my parcels off for me on Saturday, I cheated in the end, I wrote small notes and said that a letter would follow. I got some other letters written so I suppose the main part is done anyway :) I need to get the others done, I'm at the nurses Tuesday morning so should be able to post some more then too :) I hope LOL And my first pressie arrived Saturday too :D
