Visit to Intrepid during Fleet Week

I visited the Intrepid Sea, Air,& Space Museum on Memorial Day during fleet week. It was my first visit to the Intrepid in more than 5 years. The Intrepid is an Essex class aircraft carrier built in 1943 for WWII. Here are several photos from the dozens that I took at the museum.

I especially our retired 'Concorde', what a pity they decided to de-commission it...

thanks! it was great to see the interior of the concorde. its much smaller than i expected. i've seen it take off several times when it was in service. its a beautiful plane.
