so i think what i've decided to do is this:
i'll keep this journal because i've had it for almost two years now and that's a long time and idk i'm sentimental about these things.
what i'm going to do is delete most of my entries en masse and sort of start over like that. so i'll have all my old comms and everything, but i'll just keep all my stuff here from now on, but i'll have a pretty much empty journal to go off of. so it'll be like having a clean slate, BUT i'll still have all my icons. woo!
i've missed livejournal. i want to come back. <3

that's what i DID end up doing so hurrah. :) new-ish livejournal, same name, etc..
