i got a job and am more confused then ever.
man, my feet are killing me. it's wasn't a long day of work... but it was WORK.
oh yeah, i got a job. sorry i didn't tell you. i'm now working at the perrysburg Movie Gallery. it's not fantastic, it's not even content, but it's just... meh. i had my first day there, 5-10. since it was my first day all i got to do was stand infront of a computer and answer questions for three hours.
there were these sets of questions for each section, which the sections have like twenty or so questions. but, you couldn't miss a single one. if i missed one, i had to exit out and start all over again. one section took me 45 minutes to get through. i'd miss a question, exit out, go through all the other questions to get back to the one i missed and i had forgotten what i had answered in the first place, so i'd answer it wrong again. it was just so annoying. i didn't even make it through the whole damn thing, which means when i go back i have to do it all over again.
i could cry.
though, when i got there, it turns out that one of my co-workers was a chick i worked with at target, so that was cool. we caught up on old times and it was pretty mello. after the store manager [travis] left, there was just me, cassie [the girl from target] and this guy named paul.
paul is.... different. if you've seen Clerks 2, you can basically relate paul to elias, the lord of the rings kid. seriously, that's all i was thinking everytime he talked. everytime someone comes into the store, we had to greet them and he'd say 'Salutations!' each time. i had to hide my giggle. i had a feeling i'm going to have plenty of stories about him in the coming weeks.
so yeah, that's the biggest news i got right now, the job thing. i'm also trying to decide about going back to owens. for awhile now i was going to go back and take something in the medical field. nothing with patients really. either medical coding or possibly radiography. but my dad thinks i should just go back and take the few classes having to do with website design and add that to my knowledge of graphic design. there's pros and cons for both of them, but i just can't decide. it all basically boils down to i'd be happier with a graphics job but it's going to be a bitch trying to find employment in this area, while on the other hand the medical job [whichever i pick] will be easier to find employment but that's a lot more schooling.
basically, i'm stuck. i just don't know what to do.
the good news is since i'm working and have things going on in my life again, my number of postings should increase. SHOULD. i make no guarantees.
