oh man, i shouldn't have stayed up so late last night. tommy and tom came over to play video games. first we played CALL of DUTY2, team deathmatch. tom+me+stalingrad=<3 we so kicked ass on that board. then tommy left, so tom and i fought over the silo. good times. we ended up playing from Lego Star Wars.
class have been going alright, so far. PHYSICS is still pretty scary. i've devized a plan to pass though. we're allowed to use our notes on tests, so i'm copying all vocab, tables and charts into my notes. if he even mentions it, it's going in the notes. hopefully i'll be able to find what i need come test time. i haven't thought of that.
i finally had my first LAB yesterday. oh mee gee. i'm so scared. there's like these set procedures that we have to adhere to or we get flunked. after we do our experiments, we have to fill out lap reports, which are confusing in and of themselves, but add in the fact i don't know how to do any experiments and we definitely have a problem.
yesterday was also my first class for TECHICAL COMMUNICATION. the teacher is pretty nice, her lectures are shockingly interesting. there's going to be group work involved though, and i'm not the biggest fan of working in groups. our first assignment was actually to interview someone in the class we didn't already know and now we have to write a little ad for them to put up on the boards. using those, we're going to pick groups. o_O i picked Kenny. i'm scared i'm going to make kenny the last kid picked, like in dodgeball. some guy named Abe is doing mine.
MULTI_MEDIA is pretty boring. we're doing the same flash exercises we did in my dreamweaver class. i have a feeling things won't get fun until later on in the semester. for now it's all the 'learning' bullshit.
finally, i have my CREATIVE WRITING class. it's..... decent, so far. the guy seems to really like poetry, which i hate. i'll be really upset if we spent more time on poetry then fiction. we really haven't had any assignments to base things off of. i'll have to hold my tongue till then.
good news is, my cold/flu thing has finally gone away, mostly. i went to the doctors yesterday, and turns out i have an infection in my right ear, so now i get to take meds for that. i'll just be so excited to finally be able to hear out of both ears during class. i won't have to copy off of sara's notes in physics.
