(no subject)
i'm a little behind with this update. i'd meant to post something after we got back from vermont, but i got busy. sorry bout that.
the trip was okay, all in all. i enjoyed the time we spent with my aunt. especially the last day we were there, when we went shopping. there was this situation at a restuarant where this old woman was staring at me, so my aunt stared back at her through the whole meal. needless to say, i was in stiches by the time the old woman left. it was just so damn funny.
i'm not in any hurry to spend another 12 hours in a car again. no thank you.
then yesterday was my birthday. i'm officially 22. not much different then 21, shockingly. the day started out okay, hit a slump, then evened out by midnight. actually, the last half hour of my birthday was probably my favorite. thomas decided to sing 'happy birthday' to me for a straight half hour. yeah. the whole thirty minutes was he singing 'happy birthday' to different tunes. he even impersonated a vegas showgirl for some of the song. teri, ashley and i couldn't stop laughing. my cheeks hurt so bad by the time 12:01 rolled around.
stuff i got: 360, Ultimate Marvel Alliance, drawing book, a stuffed animal and a bamboo plant from ginnny. it's keeping my other plant company. oh my gosh, i forgot the second gift ashley got me. she found a Marvel version of the game Guess Who? it was so much fun. 'how does your character feel about the colour green?' really good question: 'do they have a solo title?'
this week is going to be a little hectic. we have the holiday sale going on at work. i'm going to be here till 8/9 on thursday for it. then i have exam to study for, my last speech due next thursday. i'm starting my run as the graphic designer for the gallery stuff, so that's freaking my out. i'm going to be very stressed for the next two weeks or so, i can already tell.
