Today I realized that I'm working with the kids...
who would've bullied me when I was in middle school.
In a way, I guess I still let some of them bully me. But it seems like some of the meanest ones are the ones that I either connect with or try to connect with the most.
I wonder why that is... Maybe because more energy is expended on building up a rapport with them than with kids who have inherent respect or trust for their teachers/adults?
I've got a metric ton of papers to grade before the end of the quarter (which is in 2 weeks, give or take).
