Ireland!
So what a difference another AAA travel agent makes. I decided that I'd give them another chance and go see the girl we were originally supposed to meet with earlier this week. Like night and day. She was extremely helpful, very cheerful, and very pleasant. She immediately started calling places and looking up airfare. We ended up putting a hold on one package and then she was going to call me with the price on another one after they sent her the quote. We ended up deciding to go with the first company and went up to the office to put down the deposit and book our airfare. She was wonderful with that too. She did a lot of wrangling to keep the price as low as she could, which I definitely appreciated. So we're booked! Yay! Finally. Now it's just a matter of coming up with the money. We have until the end of June to pay it off though, so hopefully between what I've saved, my tax return, and another refund I have coming that should be enough. But it's actually booked. I'm actually going. I can hardly believe it. :)
